Ingredients
- 200g All Pourpose Flour
- 1 Egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 50g Margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon Lymol
- 100ml Cold Water or as needed
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 50g each Carrots, Leeks, Cabbage and any other vegetable (Chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon Lymol
- Salt
- Paper
- 200ml Oil
Directions
Step 1

Prepare the patty filling by sautéing the chopped Onions and the vegetables until cooked. | |
Step 2

Add the chili flakes, salt and paper to taste and mix well and sauté for few more minutes. | |
Step 3

Remove the mixture from the fire add in 1/2 teaspoon Lymol and allow to cool | |
Step 4

To prepare the dough, mix the flour and the salt in a medium bowl. | |
Step 5

Add in the egg and rub in the margarine into the flour, pinching into small pieces using your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. | |
Step 6

Add 1/2 teaspoon Lymol and the water few teaspoons at a time until the mixture forms a ball. Now flatten the ball slightly, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. | |
Step 7
|
Cut the dough into small rounds or triangles and fill them with the prepared vegetable mixture, close and past with egg wash | |
Step 8
|
Deep fry the patties in hot oil until golden brown | |

Can you pleae let me know if the patty can be baked instead of deep frying?
