Potato and Coconut Toffee

Ingredients

  • 200g Potato Boiled & Mashed
  • 100g Coconut
  • 2 teaspoons Lymol
  • 200g Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Condensed Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Egg Yellow Food Coloring

Directions

Step 1
In to a pan combine the boiled mashed potatoes, coconut, sugar and the condensed milk and cook on low heat for a few minutes
Step 2
Then add the Lymol and the egg yellow coloring and continue staring on low fire until the past is thick
Step 3
Now place the past on a oiled surface
Step 4
While hot flatten it to a 1 inch thick square using an oil paper
Step 5
Then cut in to small triangles or squares and let it cool
Step 6
Serve as a sweet meat where appropirate
