Batter Fried Prawns with Sautéed Leeks

Ingredients

  • 200g Prawns
  • 50g Leeks
  • 50g Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Lymol
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmaric
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powser
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 100ml Oil

Directions

Step 1
Make a batter by adding flour, egg, chili powder and turmeric in a bowl
Step 2
Add Lymol to the batter
Step 3
Meanwhile season the prawns with salt, pepper and Lymol
Step 4
Now dip the prawns in the batter and deep fry until done
Step 5
In a pan sauté the chopped garlic
Step 6
Then add the strips of leeks and season with a little salt and pepper
Step 7
Now serve the prawns with a garnish of the sautéed leeks and tomato sauce
