An easy and spicy salad with Lotus roots and Prawns

 

Lotus Roots and Pan Fried Prawn Salad

Ingredients

  • 100g Prawns (.)
  • 100g Lotus Roots (.)
  • 1 Onion (Sliced.)
  • 30g Spring Onions (.)
  • 1 Tomato (Wedges.)
  • 1 Green Chili (Sliced.)
  • 50ml Oil (.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder (.)
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Flakes (.)
  • 2 teaspoons Lymol (.)
  • Salt (.)
  • Paper (.)

Directions

Step 1
Slice the Lotus roots .
Step 2
Cut the spring onions, onions and the tomatoes.
Step 3
Heat oil and deep fry the lotus roots until golden brown in slow fire.
Step 4
Mix the prawns with turmeric and chili flakes .
Step 5
Pan fry the prawns for 2 minutes on both sides.
Step 6
In a bowl add the fried lotus roots, onion, green chilies, tomato wedges, prawns and the spring onions with salt and paper to taste.
Step 7
Now add the Lymol mix it well and serve with steamed rice.
