GOTUKOLA AND PARIPPU VADA

A very popular snack in the Asian region.  This recipe adds Gotukola into the vade to  give a nice flavor.

GOTUKOLA AND PARIPPU VADA

Ingredients

  • 200g Dhal (Parippu)
  • 1 bunch Gotukola (Deep Fried)
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • handful Curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Kochi Chili
  • 2 teaspoons Red Chili Flakes
  • 2 tablespoons Chickpea Flour
  • 3 teaspoons Lymol
  • Salt
  • Papper
  • 200ml Oil

Directions

Step 1
Sock the dhal for 3 hours and grind into a pest
Step 2
In a bowl add the onions, kochci, chili flakes, chickpea flour, salt and paper, deep fried gotukola leaves and mix with the ground dhal past
Step 3
Add Lymol
Step 4
Now make small flat balls as in the picture and deep fry the vade in slow fire for 5 minutes
Step 5
Serve as a snack or a bite
