Dhal (Lentil) and Vegetable Salad
A great Salad to go with plain rice. ideal for vegetarians.
Ingredients:
100 g boiled Dhal (Lentil)
1 small carrot
1 green cucumber
1 onion chopped
1 small potato diced
1 tsp chili pieces
1 tsp fish sauce
1 coriander and dill leaves
1 ½ tsp Lymol
2 tsp olive oil
salt
pepper
Method:
- Boil the dhal and keep a side. Meanwhile cut the cucumber, carrots and potatoes in to dices.
- Boil the carrot and potatoes.
- Add dhal, potato and all other ingredients in to a bowl.
- Add chili, fish sauce, Lymol, olive oil into the same bowl and toss the salad.
- If necessary add salt and pepper to taste.
- Remember to add the fresh herbs (coriander and dill leaves) just before serving.
